Why is commission paid by a lender to Automotivate Leasing Limited?

The lender pays a commission to us (the Credit Broker) for introducing you to a lender and arranging your finance agreement.
This payment is part of our commercial arrangement with the lender and may vary based on the terms of the finance agreement.
Different lenders pay different amounts for making the introduction and arranging your finance agreement.

How is commission calculated by a lender?

The commission is a one-off payment based on the amount you borrow, specifically calculated as a percentage of the loan amount. The commission is subject to a maximum limit. The terms of your finance agreement will be based on your credit score, the vehicle you have selected, and the deposit you have agreed to pay. If any of these terms change at a later stage of this process, you’ll be provided with details of the final commission amount - for example, if you are asked to pay a higher deposit. The commission payment is part of our commercial arrangement with lenders and may vary based on the terms of the finance agreement.

What is your relationship with a lender?

We may work with just one lender or a limited selection of lenders when arranging finance. As a Credit Broker, we may also have other commercial arrangements with a lender which do not influence the terms of your finance agreement.

Will there be additional fees for your services as a Credit Broker?

No, we do not charge you a fee for our services. The lender makes the commission payment to us for the introduction and arranging your finance agreement. Are you providing advice on my finance options? No, we are not providing you with independent financial advice. Because we’re paid a commission by the lender or broker, we won’t be able to give you an impartial recommendation on finance. A wider range of products and rates may be available elsewhere and you should consider all your options before entering into this finance agreement.
